Although you can save your Office files to SkyDrive directly from an Office application, you can also do so manually.
Click Upload.
Click the Select Them from Your Computer link.

Upload Multiple Files You can also select multiple files to upload by pressing the Shift key as you select files. To select noncontiguous files, press the Ctrl key.
Select the file you want to upload.
Click the Open button to upload and return to SkyDrive.

Upload Many Types of Files Uploading files to SkyDrive isn’t limited to files you create in Office. You can also store any other files on SkyDrive, such as photos, PDFs, and so forth.
