Chapter 20. Organizing and Scheduling in Outlook

Microsoft Outlook isn’t just for email. You can use the program to stay organized, on track, and on schedule. Outlook’s other components include Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks. You can use Calendar to keep track of your daily activities and set up appointments, meetings, and other calendar items. You can share your calendar with others, set up alarms to remind you about upcoming meetings, and publish your calendar online. You can use Contacts to manage your ever-growing list of contacts, including friends and family, business colleagues, and more. You can use Tasks to help you organize important things you need to tackle, whether it’s an office project or just a shopping list to take with you and check off on the way home from work.
