You can turn a note into an Outlook task. For example, you might want to take a to-do list in a notebook and use it as a to-do list in Outlook to assign it to a co-worker or coordinate it with calendar dates.
Select the words or note you want to turn into a task.
Click the Home tab.
Click Outlook Tasks.
Click a priority flag setting.
OneNote adds flags to the text and adds the items as tasks in the To-Do list in Outlook.
Tip
Viewing in Outlook To view the task in Outlook, click the Home tab, click Outlook Tasks, and click the Open Task in Outlook command.
