Changing the font and sizing the text
While a large number of the tools found in the Draw section of the Tools palette are used to add and edit paths and shapes to the selected vector layer, the Insert Text tool can also be used to add content to the current vector layer.
The Insert Text dialog box lets you add a line of text to the project; the added text is instantly converted to paths and points just like the other vector layer objects. The Insert Text dialog box also includes settings to change the font, center the text, and to create a single fill for the text.
The Scripts, Other, Credits menu command is another way to add text to the project. The Credits script can display multiple lines of text. It also includes settings for controlling how long the text is displayed, the delay between credit screens, and over how many frames the credit text fades.
