Converting Photoshop Files to .ANME
If you work with Photoshop, then you’ll be happy to know the Anime Studio installation includes a Photoshop script that converts Photoshop PSD files with layers into an Anime Studio file. The script even keeps the Photoshop layers intact.
The Photoshop script is named Export Layers to Anime Studio.jsx, and it is located in the Extra Files folder where Anime Studio is installed. To make the script appear within Photoshop, simply copy the script file and place it in the Photoshop/Presets/Scripts folder, restart Photoshop, and you’ll be able to access the script using the File, Scripts, Export Layers to Anime Studio menu command, or you can use the File, Run Script, Browse feature.
Note
This script is compatible with all versions of Photoshop since version 7.
Note
Executing this script converts all PSD layers to PNG image files and places them in a PNG folder in the same folder as the .ANME file.
