Changing numbers of frames and frame rates
Using playback buttons
Using animation scripts
There are several different ways to animate content in Anime Studio, and this chapter serves as an introduction to each of them. Regardless of the animation method you use, all animation is accomplished by setting keyframes, or keys for short. Keyframes define a state in time, whether it is a Fill color, the position of a point, or the orientation of a layer.
All keyframes are saved in the Timeline palette, where they can be moved, copied, and altered as needed. These keyframes look like small round dots. This chapter serves as an introduction to animating with keyframes, and Chapter 17, “Working with the Timeline,” gets into more details on animating using the Timeline palette.
