2. Exploring the Anime Studio Interface

Before you can use Anime Studio effectively, you need to learn to use its interface. The Anime Studio interface is composed of a series of docked palettes. These individual palettes can be undocked and moved around the interface to where you need them to be. It feels a lot like an Adobe product in that it has plenty of palettes and windows. If you’re familiar with any of the Adobe products, then you should feel right at home with the Anime Studio interface. But even if you are comfortable with the interface, there are some “under the hood” details that will help you use the software even more efficiently if you take the time to learn them.

The key to being efficient in the interface is to realize that there are several ways to accomplish a task. You could select a menu item, click a toolbar icon, or use a keyboard shortcut. All of these methods would accomplish the same task, but which is the fastest method depends on your preference. Often, keyboard shortcuts are the fastest method, but they take some learning to master.
