The presentation of animation files without sound makes the animation feel incomplete. By adding and synchronizing simple sound effects, the animation will take on a whole new life. Animations can also benefit from a soundtrack that sets the mood of the animation. Learning to work with sound pays big dividends for the audience.

Audio files are loaded into a project using the File, Import, Audio File menu. Anime Studio allows multiple audio files to be loaded into a single project. Once audio files are loaded, you can manipulate them by dragging them in the Sequencer interface. The Sequencer interface is located within the Timeline palette. Audio files can also be loaded from the Library.
