Adding Noise

When a group of points is selected, you can use the Noise (N) tool to move all the selected points randomly, as shown in Figure 11.17. This is helpful if you need to add a little bit of randomness to a curve. This tool works by dragging in the main window. The farther you drag the mouse, the greater the change to the points. This tool can be applied multiple times.
