Reducing Particles on Export

If your scene includes a large number of particles, exporting the scene can be slowed down considerably. To reduce the rendering bottleneck, you can enable the Reduced Particles option in the Export Animation dialog box shown in Figure 31.7. This reduces the total number of particles at render time without changing the specified number of particles in the Particles panel.
