17. Working with the Timeline

The Timeline palette holds all the animation data for an animated sequence, including all keyframes. It lets you place and manipulate keys and control the interpolation method used between adjacent keyframes. Understanding the Timeline palette is the key to being able to animate in Anime Studio.

The Timeline palette also includes a feature called onion skinning that lets you see the position of objects for other frames. This is helpful for seeing how objects move through the project.
