Ask for Great Feedback

At the beginning of every project, and sometimes in the proposal itself, let the client know you’re working for positive feedback. Get the subject right out in the open. As a new contractor, you need to build up this valuable sales tool, and sometimes all it takes is asking for it.

At the end of the project, bring up the subject again. Make sure they’re completely satisfied with the job first, then ask them directly to give you stellar feedback. When they’ve done that, thank them.
