The more connected a prospective client feels to you, the more likely she will hire you. It’s human nature. We prefer the known to the unknown. Think of how you react when you see an actual photo versus that strange blue-gray generic silhouette. The photo brings you closer to the person. It gives that extra human touch, which is what so many people are looking for today. These details add up and make you a more desirable hire.

Make sure your photo is clear, tasteful, and shows you in a positive light. Swimsuit and party shots should be left for your Facebook postings. And if you have a business membership, you have the choice to use a logo instead of a personal photograph.
