When you have posted your job, Elance itself will provide you with suggested contractors to choose from (as shown in Figure 10.7). They base these potential matches on the parameters of your job posting, as well as your history of jobs. In the latter, they analyze the parameters you normally hire within and include these.

The search matches will be grouped into individuals, businesses, new Elance contractors, and, when possible, they will include those contractors that are based near you geographically.
To invite a contractor from these matches, just click on the square profile and they will be automatically shifted to a list of invitees. You can also choose to invite them all (within limits based on your paying membership level).
