Although this part is devoted to contractors, Elance clients will be well served to read it as well. Understanding the freelancers’ world is helpful in finding the best contractors to hire.

But more importantly, the contractor will learn how to design a profile and online image that will help him or her attract the best clients. I share techniques and tips to win great projects from the competition, including how to write effective project proposals, but I don’t stop there. I discuss how to utilize the Elance platform to manage your jobs easily and effectively and how to develop a real connection with the client. This in turn will help bring in repeat business and referrals.
