The “Me” Area

At the top of the new Lync client is a view into how other users see you. One can quickly and easily update one’s statuses and other information in this area. Information managed via the “Me” area can also include things such as adding a photo from SharePoint to use on your Lync contact card or updating location information that can be used by services like E911 to locate you physically.
