Summary
As shown in this chapter, SQL is an integral part of Lync Server 2010 and by properly monitoring and maintaining the SQL Server, one ensures that Lync Server 2010 will continue to run smoothly and perform well for the end users. By creating maintenance plans and performing regular backups, SQL can be fairly trouble free for administrators.
