Client Appearance

The new Lync client comes with an updated appearance and updated functionality. The new unified UI lists contacts, recent conversations, missed calls, and even the latest updates from your contacts. It also supports customization of the view of contacts to enable users to alter the appearances of their interfaces. Items such as contacts and missed calls now appear in a tabbed list. Updates from your contacts show up in the Activity Feed. These updates are primarily implemented to promote a more social aspect to collaboration.
