• Dial-In Conferencing Overview
• Dial-In Conferencing Configuration
• Configure Users for Dial-In Conferencing
In addition to providing compelling telephony features related to Enterprise Voice users, Lync Server 2010 has expanded the dial-in conferencing support first introduced in Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 R2.
This chapter covers the steps involved in deploying dial-in conferencing on top of an existing Lync voice infrastructure where IP/PSTN gateways are in place and functional. Dial plan and conferencing regions are examined along with how to assign a dial-in access number to a particular region. Customization of the dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) commands and conferencing announcement behavior is also covered in this chapter.
Finally, enablement and management of users for dial-in conferencing is covered. This involves assigning dial plans, conferencing policies, and managing PINs for users.
