Host Server Configuration

When planning to virtualize Lync Servers, the virtual host server hardware and configuration have a direct effect on how well the virtual machine guests can perform. This section summarizes some of the support requirements and performance recommendations to follow when building a host server. Most of these requirements are based around treating each Lync virtual machine as if it were a physical server with its own dedicated processor, memory, disk, and network adapter.
