You can differentiate cell values that meet specific conditions by using the Conditional Formatting feature. With this feature, you can instruct Excel to apply specific cell shading, cell borders, font styles, and font colors to cell content that matches the condition or conditions that you specify. For example, you can have Excel display the top 10 percent of all values entered in a column in red font; shade cells containing numbers within, higher than, or lower than a specific range of values in different colors; or format the text of all dates in a data range that fall within a specific date range in bold font. You can apply different conditions to different data ranges, and apply multiple conditions to one data range.
