Chapter 13. Review Word Documents

Chapter at a Glance

Review Word Documents

In this chapter, you will learn how to

Revise a Document.

Give Feedback on Document Content.

When multiple people contribute to the creation of a document, or when you have cause to review a document written by another person, you can use the Track Changes and Comments features of Microsoft Word to simplify the process. The Track Changes feature marks insertions, deletions, and formatting changes made to a document so that other people can easily distinguish original content from changes and can choose to accept or reject the changes.

Using the Comments feature, you can insert remarks or additional information into a document for other reviewers to see, without affecting the actual document content.

In this chapter, you’ll learn how to track the changes you make to a document and insert comments into a document. Then you’ll review and process changes and comments by using various methods.
