You can create presentations in many ways: from scratch, based on an existing presentation, based on an existing outline, or from a project template.
A new presentation includes only the title slide. You add other slides that you want.
An easy way to add a slide is by choosing a layout from the Elements Gallery.
You can reuse a slide from another presentation by importing it. The imported slide automatically takes on the theme of the presentation you import it into.
You can enter and edit text either on the Outline page of the Navigation pane or directly on a slide.
Repurposing an existing presentation to fit the needs of a different audience is a useful technique that saves development time. Repurposing existing slides is another way to save time and ensure consistency.
