Chapter at a Glance

You can create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation in several ways. For example, you can add slides and slide content to a blank presentation, create a presentation based on a template from the Microsoft Project Gallery, create a populated presentation by importing an outline document into PowerPoint, or modify an existing presentation.

In this chapter, you’ll create presentations from scratch, from a template, and by importing an outline. You’ll add slides to a presentation, both from the Elements Gallery and by importing them from another presentation. Then you’ll populate the slides with text.
