Image DAY 39 GALLERY OF INSPIRATION

Succulent

BY BETH SHIBATA

“Succulent” was created with an iteration of low level posterization followed by several iterations of solarization, color adjustment, and reversing the solarization to saturate the colors. The image was then slightly squeezed vertically to lend it a more dynamic, upward feel. The idea was to emphasize the energy radiating from within the plant and raise it to an emotional level.
