To add a preset animation effect, select the object you want to animate and choose Slide Show, Preset Animation. The menu displays a list of available animation options.
You can't get preset animation to work? See the Troubleshooting section at the end of the chapter.
Depending on whether you choose text or another kind of object, not all options are available. For example, the typewriter preset animation, which displays text as if you were typing it letter by letter, is available only for text objects.
Choose the preset animation from the menu, which closes. To preview what this animation effect looks like, choose Slide Show, Animation Preview or view the actual slide show.
Tip
To remove a preset animation effect from a selected object, choose Slide Show, Preset Animation, Off.
Tip
You can also specify preset animation in Slide Sorter view.
