Guest access, at the top level, is a binary option in your tenant organization, meaning it can be enabled or disabled. To be able to add guests to any Microsoft Team, guest access must be enabled at the organization level. Guest access settings must be aligned between the different admin centers (the Azure AD portal, Teams admin center, SharePoint Online admin center, and Microsoft 365 admin center) to ensure access is fully enabled, as we will see in the upcoming sections.
