Managing company names

In order to perform company name extraction, you'll need to configure company names in the Term Store. To complete this task, you will need to be a Term Store administrator. To update company names, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the SharePoint Admin Center (https://admin.microsoft.com | Admin centers | SharePoint) and select Classic features.
  2. Select Open in the Search section.

 

  1. Open the Term Store by selecting Manage Search Dictionaries:

  1. Expand Search Dictionaries in the Term Store Management Tool.

 

  1. Point to either Company Inclusions or Company Exclusions. Then select the down arrow that appears and click Create Term:

  1. Enter the name of the company to include or exclude, and either click outside the typing area or press Enter.

As indexing is performed, company names listed in Company Inclusions or Company Exclusions will be processed accordingly.
