You will need to remove the newsfeed web part from each My Site host if you have configured My Sites:

1. From any site, select Newsfeed to browse to a user's My Site.
2. On the newsfeed page, select Settings, and then click Edit Page.
3. Hover over the Newsfeed web part, and then click the box that appears next to the web part.

4. On the page ribbon, choose the Web Part tab, and then select Delete.
5. Click OK.
6. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for the Trending Hashtags web part.
7. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for the Followed Counts web part.
8. Click Stop Editing.
9. Click About me to open a user's profile page.
10. Click Settings, and then click Edit Page.
11. Hover over the Activity Feed web part, and then click the box that appears next to the web part.
12. On the page ribbon, select the Web Part tab, and then click Delete.
13. Click OK.
14. On the page ribbon, click Stop Editing.
