Reports in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center

Like other Microsoft 365 services, Teams also has some basic reporting in the Microsoft 365 admin center. You can access the reports by following these steps:

  1. Launch the Microsoft 365 admin center (https://admin.microsoft.com) and select Reports | Usage:

  1. Expand the Select a report drop-down list and select either Device usage or User activity to view the reports:

  1. View the report.

The Device usage report shows a per-user breakdown of the last activity period and indicates which clients or devices have been used to access the Teams service (Windows, Mac, web, iOS, Android phone, and Windows Phone). The User activity report shows a per-user breakdown of the last activity date and what type of activities they performed (channel messages, chat messages, calls, and meetings).
