Popularity Trends for a site or a site collection will show aggregate hits and unique user counts per day and per month:

1. As a SharePoint admin, site admin, or site collection admin, navigate to a site or site collection for which you wish to view trends.
2. Click Settings (gear icon), and then select Site settings. If Site settings isn't displayed, click Site information, and then click View all site settings.
3. If you are viewing a site, click Popularity Trends under Site Administration. If you are viewing a site collection, click Popularity and Search Reports under Site Collection Administration:

4. Click Usage under Usage Reports.
5. Click Open to download and open the report. The report is formatted as a Microsoft Excel worksheet.
