If both of the following configurations are true, users will be able to upload apps to teams for which they are granted permission or are an owner of:
- The user's assigned app policy setting allows them to upload apps
- The Org-wide app custom apps setting is configured to allow app uploads
To manage the Team custom app setting, follow these steps:
- Launch Microsoft Teams and navigate to the team you wish to manage.
- Select the ellipsis (...) for the team, and then select Edit team:
- Select Settings and then, under Member permissions, select the option to allow members to upload custom apps:
The Allow members to add and remove apps checkbox governs Teams app store apps.
Teams app settings take effect immediately.
