System Configuration . Platform Configuration . E- mail Listeners. The E- mail Listener application is used to receive and process requests submitted through e- mail. Multiple e- mail listeners may be configured on different mailboxes to process all types of requests such as for different departments within an organization. When configuring an e- mail listener, an administrator has to provide details such as the e- mail address, mail server, protocol, and its processing frequency, as shown in Figure 9- 10 and Figure 9- 11 on page 187.
