Each workflow and each object in a workflow will have unique object identifiers attached to it. Here is a list of object identifiers that are attached to each SWF concept:

• A workflow or an activity within the workflow is identified by its domain, name, and version.
• A task is identified by a unique task token automatically generated by SWF.
• A workflow execution is identified by the domain, workflow ID, and run ID.
