The Journey

The journey is filled with twists and turns where art flows and sometimes it doesn’t. The artist’s rekindled spark to creativity can be traced directly to her iPhone and app store.

Sophia by the Sea

This was a great shot to begin with. No cropping. Processed in the app “Vintage Scene”, and then I increased the color saturation of the dress in “Photo fx”.

Stepping out

Her name is Angle. She loved the camera. I used “Pic Grunger” for texture, softened the background with “BlurFX” and popped the color of her comb using “Photo fx”.

Rose Awakening

I love flowers. I changed the color in the center of the rose in “Photo fx” and did a little sharpening. Finally, I added some texture in “Pic Grunger”.

Companion

I arranged these calla lilies against a wall, processed the image in the app “Vintage Scene”, then increased saturation of the flowers in “Photo fx”.

Kid in Hay

I really enjoy taking photos of animals. This was another great shot. I did very little apping: processed in “Vintage Scene”, softened background with “BlurFX”.

Downtown

I shot this through the window of the car while driving in downtown Portland. I colored and sharpened the buildings in “Photo fx” and created the blue hue and orange sky in “PhotoForge”.

Seduction

This was fun. I took this photo through the car window, while driving over the Bay Bridge to San Francisco. I smoothed her with “BlurFX” and popped the color in “Photo fx”. Finally, I used “Pic Grunger” for texture.

Bar

This photo was taken in Portland, Oregon. I opened the photo in the app “BlurFX”, blurred the background, and then increased the saturation in “Photo fx”.

What a Tangled Web We Weave

This photo is heavily apped. I blurred the background with the app “BlurFX”, “Plastic Bullet” created the intense color and “Pic Grunger” added texture.

Red Sky

This was an experiment. I took a simple graphic photo of a house in Berkeley, painted selective focus in the app “BlurFX”, colored it in “Photo fx”, and made it electrifying. Then I used “Pic Grunger” to create the cracked effect.
