Summary

I guess, now you understand, why this chapter is one of the last? In fact, it's intended for readers who know Redmine well. Thus, to customize the issue list users need to know how to work with custom queries; to configure and troubleshoot notifications users need to know what options should be set in the administration area; to customize the personal page users need to be familiar with the data shown in the blocks, and so on.

Perhaps, it could be a good chapter to end the book with, but Redmine is not a tool with certain list of features. It has a great special feature, which makes its feature list measureless—it has plugin API. There are a lot of plugins for Redmine with very different functionality—from adding a feature to turning Redmine into a completely different project. In the next chapter, we will review what plugins are; how to find plugins you need; and other related issues. If you are not an administrator of Redmine, do not hurry to skip the next chapter as there we will also review some interesting plugins.
