Social Skills

Social skills is the ability to ethically manage others' emotions using influence.

Social skills, also known as interpersonal skills or people skills, are the skills we, as sociable creatures, developed to communicate and interact with each other. And to convey our messages, thoughts, and feelings to each other, we use verbal language and non-verbal language, such as gestures, cues, body language, and our personal appearance. Social skills help boost productivity, improve relationships, and increase our general quality of life.

A leader with great social skills is extremely useful in any workplace, as usually they are the influencers, the leaders, the ones focused on helping the others and the organization. They are easy to talk to and wonderful listeners; therefore, they are the peace makers, resolving disputes, building bonds, and catalyzing change:
