INGREDIENTS
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1⁄4 cup dark semisweet chocolate chips
1⁄4 cup chopped dried cherries
1 tsp pure cocoa powder
2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
1⁄3 cup unsweetened almond milk
1⁄4 cup honey
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2 In a bowl, combine the oats, chocolate chips, cherries, cocoa powder, and protein powder.
3 In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, honey, almond butter, and vanilla. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir well.
4 Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake until the top browns, about 30 minutes.
5 Remove the oat mixture from the oven, refrigerate for 1 hour, and cut into 4 equal-sized bars before serving. (Refrigerate the bars in a sealed container for up to 6 days.)
