Jira comes with a comprehensive list of system events that are focused around issue-related operations. However, there will be times when you will need to create custom-designed events that represent specialized business operations, or when you simply need to use a custom email template.
Perform the following steps to add a new custom event:
- Browse to the View Events page.
- Enter a name and description for the new event in the Add New Event section.
- Select the mail template for the new event.
