4 skirt steaks, about 4oz (110g) each
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
8oz (225g) sliced mushrooms
1 medium yellow onion, halved and sliced
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 Preheat the oven to broil. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
2 In a deep-dish pan, place the steaks. Top each with 1⁄4 tablespoon of butter. Broil until the steaks reach your desired doneness:
3 In a saucepan on the stovetop over medium heat, sauté the mushrooms, onion, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter until the onion becomes soft and translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add the Worcestershire sauce, tossing to combine.
