Probiotics in yogurt can improve gut health, which affects your immune system and aids in recovery from hard workouts. This is one of my all-time favorite breakfasts because it provides carbs for training and protein for recovery. It’s also low in fat to help with digestion.

INGREDIENTS
1⁄2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 cup fat-free or 2% plain Greek yogurt, divided
2 tbsp shaved almonds
2 tsp honey
1⁄4 cup toasted granola
dash of ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
1 Place the blueberries in the bottom of a parfait glass. Add 1⁄2 cup of yogurt over the berries. Layer the almonds on top of the yogurt and drizzle the honey over the top.
2 Add the remaining 1⁄2 cup of yogurt over the honey, sprinkle the granola and cinnamon over the top, and serve immediately.
