Summary

Overall, this chapter has explained how to set up our third and final project—RETROformer. It's continued by explaining how to import all the assets for the project, as well as how to create some animations. Lastly, this chapter has explained how to implement a more advanced player controller that lets the character navigate through the environment in a more dynamic way.

Next, in Chapter 10Let's Get Physical, we will continue to work on RETROformer. In addition, you will learn more about 2D physics in Unity, and how it can be applied to the platform game to create different Physics Material 2D. Lastly, we will learn and apply various physics to actions such as jumping or moving using forces.
