So let's find out your preferred learning styles:
- Revisit the My Learning artefact by clicking on Content and then My Learning.
- Below the Multiple Intelligences link, which you clicked during the preceding Time for action — determine multiple intelligences and display them, you will see a paragraph introducing the concept of learning styles.
- Click on the Learning Styles link.
- You will see a long list of statements about specific learning situations. You have a number of options for each statement — Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often, and Always. Answer all of the questions:
- When you have finished, click on Save at the bottom of the page.
- Now, as with the multiple intelligences, you need to add the learning styles block to a page in order to see the results. Open up a new or existing page in editing view.
- Under the Profile block tab, you will see an icon for learning styles.
- Drag the block onto your page. You will see some options for editing the colors of the pie chart and its legend. Click on Save.
- In your page, you will see a pie chart displaying your preferred learning styles.
- Looks like I'm more of a kinesthetic/visual learner.
You just learned how to work out your learning styles and display them in a Mahara page.
