You can tune management packs by overriding parameters. This appendix lists parameters for shared scripts in the Active Directory (AD) and Exchange 2003 management packs. One of the enhancements we hope to see in the next version of Operations Manager (OpsMgr) is an easy way to find scripts used by the various rules and monitors. This was available with the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 interface, but is not included with OpsMgr 2007.

Contents of This Appendix

This appendix contains tables mapping rules and monitors used by Active Directory and Exchange to scripts with customizable parameters. The Exchange information is not specific to Exchange 2007 because the Exchange 2007 management pack for OpsMgr 2007 was not available when this material was compiled.
