Early to Close

A great way to recognize and reward your employees is to close a little early before holiday weekends and midweek holidays. While this depends in part on workload demands and the nature of your business and industry, there are some real advantages associated with letting employees leave early.

However, it is important to note that leaving early does not necessarily mean taking the whole afternoon off. Even if you let your employees go an hour earlier, the gesture will be appreciated. When you take this type of action, you are rewarding your employees for their hard work, and you are also showing your understanding of their needs, interests, and responsibilities outside of work.
