Authentication Methods Supported

Lync Web App supports standard authentication methods. On-premise users are able to authenticate through forms-based authentication, through Integrated Windows Authentication, or through multifactor authentication that is powered by ADFS. For Lync Online users, OrgID authentication is supported, which is the primary authentication method for all Microsoft Online services. Lastly, guests or unauthenticated users can join if the conferencing policy permits.
