Dynamic Memory/Memory Overcommit
Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V Service Pack 1 and above has a new feature called dynamic memory that allows defining startup and maximum RAM values for a virtual machine. This feature should not be used with Lync Server 2013. Likewise, virtual machines that run on VMware should not be overcommitted on memory. These features cannot be used with Lync and have a negative impact on performance.
