Lync Server 2013 enables administrators to easily export and import the entire voice-routing configuration.
Tip
Always export the voice configuration before making any modifications. This enables an administrator to easily roll back any changes that might have introduced an issue to the environment. This is especially important in organizations with multiple voice administrators because the last administrator to commit a change will overwrite any previous ones.
To export a configuration, follow these steps:
1. Open the Lync Server 2013 Control Panel.
2. Click Voice Routing.
3. From any of the submenu selections, click Actions, and then click Export Configuration.
4. Select a location and filename for the configuration file, and then click Save.
To import a previously saved configuration file, follow these steps:
1. Open the Lync Server 2013 Control Panel.
2. Click Voice Routing.
3. From any of the submenu selections, click Actions and then click Import Configuration.
4. Locate the configuration file and click Open.
5. Commit the changes using the steps discussed previously.
