Chapter 13. Monitoring Lync Server 2013

Organizations deploying Lync Server 2013 all have unique requirements for monitoring the health, performance, and usage of the environment. At a minimum, all organizations should be concerned with the health and performance of the environment, and organizations in certain verticals will be required to retain usage data for regulatory purposes. Lync Server 2013 includes many tools that enable organizations to meet monitoring and archiving needs of all types. In addition to built-in tools, a rich ecosystem exists with many third-party vendors catering to the needs of all organizations.
