Darvish (“D”) Shadravan is a senior technical specialist employed by Microsoft, where he focuses on Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies. He has been with Microsoft for 16 years in various technical roles, working directly with enterprise customers. In addition to performing as lead author of this book, Darvish is also the coauthor of the Microsoft Press book Using Microsoft InfoPath 2010 with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Step by Step. Penelope Coventry is a multiyear recipient of Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Microsoft SharePoint Server, and has obtained the following certifications: MCSE (SharePoint 2013), MCITP (SharePoint Administration 2010), and MCPD (SharePoint Developer 2010). Based in the United Kingdom, she is an author, independent consultant, and trainer with more than 30 years of industry experience. Penny has authored and coauthored more than 10 SharePoint-related books, including Exploring Microsoft SharePoint 2013: New Features and Functions, Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Step by Step, Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010 Step by Step, and Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Administrator’s Companion.

Penny has worked with SharePoint since 2001. When she is not writing, she works on large SharePoint deployments. In addition, Penny speaks about SharePoint at SharePoint events, including SharePoint conferences, TechEd North America, SharePoint Evolution conferences, Australia and New Zealand SharePoint conferences, SharePoint Best Practices conferences, the Swedish SharePoint and Exchange Forum, and the SharePoint Summit in Toronto, as well as user group meetings and SharePoint Saturdays.

Tom Resing is well versed in helping customers take advantage of the features of SharePoint. As a SharePoint consultant at Rackspace, he strives to find the right level of SharePoint customization for every business. His skills have earned him the Microsoft Certified Master certification in SharePoint 2007, and the Microsoft MVP award in 2012.

Tom shares his knowledge through a variety of mediums. He has coauthored books on SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013, and has spoken at many SharePoint conferences on Business Connectivity Services (BCS).

Aside from his technology interests, Tom is an avid community supporter and entrepreneur. Along with his wife, he owns two learning and development centers for children in San Antonio. Christina Wheeler is an independent consultant and SharePoint trainer with over 15 years of experience in information technology, software, and web development.
